About Nancy

I am a writing coach, instructor, editor, and group facilitator. With over 20 years of experience in higher education, nonprofits, and the private sector, I support clients across a wide range of subject areas and writing projects. Entering each client partnership with an open, friendly, and collaborative spirit, I bring out the best in others and work tirelessly to help them achieve success and confidence in their written communication.

From brainstorming to drafting, revision, editing, and publication, I act as collaborator and guide, leaving my clients with both the well-crafted, audience-centered writing they need in the short-term as well as increased confidence to write independently in the future. Nancy is an extremely knowledgeable resource on all things writing, ranging from working with ELL students to crafting great thesis statements to correcting grammar to brainstorming ideas. She is adept at coaching students through all steps of the writing process, and can give accessible presentations for any audience — even when they have very little experience writing for a mainstream audience, such as engineering students. She also has specialized experience working with nursing students both in person and online. She is organized, smart, a great team player, and generally a delight to be around!
